To explore the Langhe in just one day, we'll focus our attention on getting to know the two great wine denominations: Barolo and Barbaresco. We'll start in the historic town of La Morra, with its panoramic views offering an open-air map of the whole zone, the perfect place to get an overview of the region. Then we'll continue on to Barolo, the village that gave its name to one of the world's most famous wines, for winery visits and guided tastings. After lunch in a restaurant surrounded by vineyards, we'll visit Alba, the capital of the Langhe, nicknamed the city of a hundred towers. We'll dedicate the rest of the afternoon to another great Nebbiolo-based wine, Barbaresco, visiting another winery to compare and contast its unique nature.
